Getting started with the OneSpan Financial Demo Prototype

With the OneSpan Financial Demo Prototype, you can go through various typical mobile banking workflows and demo how they are protected using OneSpan solutions. Use case scenarios include onboarding and account opening, as well as viewing balance information and bill payment.

Working with the OneSpan Financial Demo Prototype

You can open the OneSpan Financial Demo Prototype and demo the use case scenarios in your desktop web browser, or on your iOS or Android mobile device.

Because you will need your camera for identification and authentication steps, make sure to allow access to your camera:

  • When using your desktop browser, you will be prompted to allow camera access during the demo.
  • For instructions to allow camera access on mobile devices, see Setting the camera permission.

Adding the app icon to the mobile home screen

Adding the app icon to the iOS home screen

  1. Open the OneSpan Financial Demo Prototype in your mobile browser.
  2. Tap the upload button.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen from the options list.
  4. (OPTIONAL) Rename the app.

  5. Tap Add.

    The app icon is added to your home screen. You can now access the demo using this icon.

Adding the app icon to the Android home screen

  1. Open the OneSpan Financial Demo Prototype in your mobile browser.
  2. Open the menu by tapping on the menu button in the top right corner.
  3. From the menu, select Add to Home screen.
  4. (OPTIONAL) Rename the app.

  5. Tap Add, and then Add automatically.

    The app icon is added to your home screen. You can now access the demo using this icon.

Changing Chrome settings

Setting the camera permission

  1. On your mobile device, open the device settings and select Apps & notifications.
  2. Tap Chrome and select Permissions.
  3. Tap Camera and ensure that camera access for this app is allowed.
