Uninstalling the Application

To uninstall the OneSpan Sign for Salesforce application, there are two procedures:

  • Remove permission sets assigned to users. This step is only necessary if permission sets have been assigned to Salesforce users.

  • Uninstall the OneSpan Sign for Salesforce package.

To remove permissions assigned to users in Salesforce Classic:

  1. Log in to the Salesforce organization as a System Administrator.
  2. Click the Setup link.
  3. Click Manage Users > Permission Sets.
  4. Click the name of the assigned OneSpan Sign permission set:
  5. Click Manage Assignments > [Select Users] > Remove Assignments.
  6. Repeat for each permission set.

To remove permissions assigned to users in Salesforce Lightning Experience:

  1. Log in to the Salesforce organization as a System Administrator.
  2. Click the Gear Icon > Setup.
  3. On the left-side navigation bar locate Administration and click Users > Permission Sets:
  4. Click the name of the assigned OneSpan Sign permission set:
  5. Click Manage Assignments > [Select Users] > Remove Assignments.
  6. Repeat for each permission set.

To uninstall the OneSpan Sign for Salesforce package:

  1. Log in to the Salesforce organization as a System Administrator.

  2. Click the Setup link at the top right of the page.

  3. In the left pane under Build, click Installed Packages. The Installed Packages page appears.

  4. Locate the OneSpan Sign for Salesforce package and click Uninstall under the Action column. A dialog box appears.

  5. Check the box Yes, I want to uninstall this package and permanently delete all associated components.

  6. Click Uninstall. After the package is uninstalled, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Salesforce.
