I have been asked to explore automation of a form that is currently hosted in Excel. It includes some simple calculations (sums mainly). Does Sign support calculated fields?
Unfortunately, current OneSpan Sign doesn't support native excel files, the available types are:
Adobe's Portable Document Format (*.pdf)
Microsoft Word (*.doc or *.docx)
Open Office (*.odt)
Text (.txt)
Rich Text Format (.rtf)
That's to say, you may have to convert the excel to a support type (e.g. .pdf) upfront uploading to OneSpan Sign, and the save as PDF conversion does have the ability to keep the calculated fields.

Thanks for your post! I actually didn't mean to put a calculation into a pdf form, but to flatten the excel cells while saving all data sheets as a PDF. Take the attached sample excel for example, (1)define print area (2)File > Save as > Browse (3)save as PDF from the dropdown (4)Options > Publish the entire workbook

To clarify, I am not looking to upload an Excel document to OneSpan, I am looking to include Excel-like functionality in OneSpan. For example, on the form I have the following values:
Collateral 1 Value
Collateral 2 Value
Collateral 3 Value
Total Collateral value.
I want the recipient to enter the 3 individual collateral value fields and have OneSpan do the calculation Total Collateral Value = Collateral Value 1 + Collateral Value 2 + Collateral Value 3
I see what you meant. Unfortunately "Formula/Calculated/Dependent field" is not currently supported. There are already existing Enhancement Requests asking for this feature, hence if you preferred, I can vote on behalf of your organization in our roadmap system.
