OneSpan Sign as a passthrough of sensitive documents

0 votes
Is it possible to bypass the signing or accept portion of the signing ceremony and simply go to a "completed" state? We are looking for ways to securely send document(s) to a customer without them having to sign or accept the package, but simply provide them with a link to download the completed documents (stored in the OneSpan cloud).

Hi Michael, OneSpan Sign is an electronic signature service, and shouldn't be used as a cloud storage/delivery solution as we require at least one signature on every transaction. But if you still want to do that, you can create a package with only your sender, remove the default-consent and put an "accept only" for your sender. Then you call API to sign and share the download link to your clients. But still, at the end of the day, you'd find another solution to securely deliver documents to your clients other than relying on OSS. Hope this could help you! Duo

Thank you for you quick response. I was almost certain that this was the case, but my supervisor wanted me to check just to make sure.
