update email after signing started

Hi,

 

I saw one post in the forum, and saying after signing started, not able to update the signer's email address. but I tried it with SDK call and it seems works for me.

anything I missed?

Hi Cindy,

 

The limitation is introduced since Release 11.27 (release note here)

"Prevented a recipient's information (First Name, Last Name, etc.) from being changed once the recipient has started to sign."

 

I assumed that you are developing with your on-premise environment, so it might be the case that you can still edit the signer even if the person has started to sign. But it's better to keep align with the latest practice so that you won't have the inconsistency when you upgrade next time.
