package attributes in email

0 votes
Hi Is there a way that custom package attributes can be shown in the email sent to the signers. https://developer.esignlive.com/guides/feature-guides/package-attributes/ For example I might need some additional text in the email for only some of the signers. Is there a variable that can be added to the the email template, that will be able to get the values of a custom attribute. Alternatively, is there a way to add content to an email via the REST API. Thanks Mario

Mario, The reason I suggested using the email message feature is for you to add the package attributes in the email message so they are shown to the signer. There is no variable for package attributes.

Hi Mario, You can actually add a customized message to each signer. Have a look at this guide: https://developer.esignlive.com/guides/feature-guides/email-message/

Will the customized message still be shown, if a customized template has been uploaded to the account for the email sent to the signer?

It depends if you removed the package message variable from the email template. If so, you will need to ask support to put that variable back again.

Hi Haris Thanks for your reply. I have one more question. Can custom package attributes can be shown in the email? What would the variable name be for the "First Name" attribute in the example below https://developer.esignlive.com/guides/feature-guides/package-attributes/ Regards Mario
