PCC with Remote Desktop Apps

We are supporting one of our clients and we are using AnyDesk as a support application. Will using this app affect the functionality of the PCC when the customer is trying to test whether they can sign a document?

Hi Eduardo,

Thanks for your post!

As per AnyDesk's documentation:
AnyDesk clients use the TCP-Ports 80443, and 6568 to establish connections. It is however sufficient if just one of these is opened.

AnyDesk’s “Discovery” feature uses a free port in the range of 5000150003 and the IP 239.255.102.18 as default values for communication.

It can be necessary to whitelist AnyDesk for firewalls or other network traffic monitoring software, by making an exception for: “*.net.anydesk.com

On the other hand, OneSpan Sign’s JavaScript library expects the PCC executable to use one of these six ports as per this guide:

  • 26666

  • 31222

  • 32444

  • 44555

  • 47777

  • 48888

From what I see, it doesn't look like using AnyDesk will affect the functionality of PCC. But still, please perform some tests to validate this.
