PDF Format In Chrome

Hello, We are running into an issue where our signed PDF files are not being displayed correctly in Chrome and sometimes Firefox as well. Everything is normal with the PDF documents until we sign and download them through eSignLive. Please note that we’re currently using the Sandbox environment and we’re worried that the issue persists when we go live. Is there a workaround that we can use to make this right? Attached you can find screenshots of the same document before and after it’s signed. Please let me know if you need more information. We don’t have this issue when using Safari or Adobe Reader. Thank you, Sina

Thank you Duo for communicating with me through emails. For those who are experiencing the same issue, this is the final response I got from [email protected]:
Hello Sina, Google chrome has a well-known issue with some Pdfs when it comes to viewing, and to resolve this issue you can control how Chrome handle the PDF files: 1. On your computer, open Chrome. 2. At the top right, click Settings. 3. At the bottom, click Advanced. 4. Under "Privacy and security," click Content settings. 5. Near the bottom, click PDF documents. 6. Turn on Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome. Please test and let us know if this resolves the issue, you can also update your chrome version or check the version number and see if there is any bug related to PDF viewer in that version. Best regards,

Hi Sina, If there's no sensitive information, can you send your document to [email protected] so that I can have a closer look at that. And if you just want to present the flatten document on the web page, you can have a try downloading the flatten PDF via GET /api/packages/{packageId}/documents/{documentId}/pdf?flatten=true and show that on the page. Hi Duo, Thanks for your response, I had no luck using flatten=true. The file you've requested is emailed now. Thanks again, Sina
