On Premise Evidence Document

0 votes
Good Afternoon, I am using the On Premise verson 6.5 and recently tried to download the evidence document from a finished package. However that document was blank. I have tried turning on a couple of the backoffice settings, specifically "Evidence Summary" and "e-Witness recording", but this doesnt seem to cause this document to be available, either on existing packages or newly signed ones. Can you tell me the settings i need to turn on in order to produce this document?

Hi Chris, The attachments are the sample setting I received from our Enterprise Support Specialist. Kindly have a try and tell me whether it solves the issue. Duo

Hi Chris, Good afternoon! Just few quick questions for you, do you have "evidence.summary.options" resources in the esl_resource table? How were you trying to download the Evidence Summary? From Web UI button or calling REST API/SDK function? What the package language you were using? And does the downloaded PDF has the name like: "evidence-summary.pdf"? Duo

Hello Duo, Thank you for replying. I personally used the SDK method DownloadEvidenceSummary and that returns a byte array which i then create a pdf with. I asked a coworker who has access to the UI and they told me clicking the link in the UI resulted in the same blank page. I dont know what the name was that my coworker saw, but i chose my own name with the SDK which was something similar to what you provided.

Hi Chris, I see, so could you kindly check your backoffice setting that whether you've set the "evidence.summary.options" resources in the esl_resource table? Duo

That appears to be missing, but when i click the create button that is an option that i can populate. Is there a document that will tell me what my options and required fields are for creating this?

I will put this in there straight away. It generally takes 5 to 10 minutes for changes i make in back office to take effect for some reason. While i wait on that, will this work retroactively with past complete packages or will this just be a new packages going forward change?

I put in the change and new packages complete have evidence documents i am now able to download. It does look like the change is not retroactive and only going forward. are there any concerns we should have with not being able to product evidence documents for older completed packages?

Glad that it works for newly created packages. I will find someone in the R&D team tomorrow and consult them regarding the older completed packages. Duo
