QR Code

I am new to eSignLive still in the Sandbox, thought I would explore the QR Code. It doesn't seem to work. I created a package using the WEB UI, and for one signature I placed the signature and also added a QR Code. Sent the package and had it signed. I printed the document with the QR Code, and scanned it with a reader.The resulting URL is: https://sandbox.esignlive.com/qr// Where package id is the package ID I see in the evidence, and anothernumber is 5074538217b30444 which I can't identify. When I follow this link on my android phone (where I scanned the QR) it says we couldn't find the page you're looking for. I tried typing in that URL to Chrome on my desktop, same message. Only interested in exploring this for an upcoming demonstration to my team.

The other number is the document id. I do see the same as you though. It appears that there is a bug somewhere in this. You should get the audit trail by going to that link. I will contact support to have a ticket created. Thanks for reporting this. :)

Now I see the QR Code will be deprecated in the new release within a month, I was only interested in seeing what it does. Thanks for the response.

Guess I should have checked the release notes, too. ;) However, it shouldn't be broken before it's removed. If you need any assistance with getting the audit information another way, I'd be glad to help!

We are okay, my demo program already has download of Documents and download of Evidence. I just wanted to see what QR Code did. Since I'm proposing eliminating the paper, not sure what value the QR Code would have anyway.

In addition to the Evidence Summary PDF, if you are using the SDK or API, you can access the Audit Trail data programmatically: For example, in Java: eslClient.getAuditService().getAudit( packageId );
