Remote Notary
Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 01:42pmSome of our clients demand a stored recording of remote notary audio and video. My understanding is OneSpan does not support the audio/video storage feature.. There are products that position themselves as remote notary products that do this. Before we begin to look seriously at those, can you tell me if OneSpan has capabilities like this on the roadmap?

In OneSpan Sign, the current e-Notary flow doesn't support face-to-face interactions or recordings. But this feature is on the roadmap and will be soon released!
In release 11.40, the Virtual Room feature will be introduced, which enables a host and signers to join a shared online session in which electronic agreements are signed remotely, by leveraging the power of teleconferencing for co-browsing and video/audio.
However, in the initial release, you can't turn on the virtual room on a notarized transaction. It's still under development and will soon be introduced in the upcoming releases.
