We are currently using docusign as our electronic signature system and are in the process of moving over to yourselves. At present when we create our transactions for signatures, we also send copies to our sales man and internal colleagues so they are able to view the document unsigned. How can i set this up in onespan please. Attached is an example of how we process this through docusign.

Hi Karen, If you want your internal colleagues to "view only", you can simply add them as recipients and don't assign any signatures to them. So they become what we call "reviewer". If you set the signing order, the reviewer will only receive email notification when his/her turn, and will directly be skipped. Next recipient will receive email notification since reviewers are not involved in the signing process. Hope this could help! Duo

We are starting to look further into this and now have customers that would like a Manager to authorise the document but not sign it. How do we go about having one contact authorise the contract and then once authorised the document is forwarded automatically to the Manager that has to sign the document. It must not go for signing until it has been authorised. We also have Regional Business Managers set up to view the document, we also want them to be notified once the customer has signed the document. This is only half way through our process as we then require an internal contact to also view the document when the customer has signed. Our internal contact will then allocate the contract for the second signature which is on behalf of ourselves.

Hey Karen, Because you are not integrated(that's from my assumption), following are the workflows I would suggest to use in your case: (1) have four signers with signing order in package: "Authorizing Manager", "External Signer", "Regional Business Manager" and "Internal Employee" (2) for "Manager to authorise the document", you could use "Document Visibility" feature that having an Authorization Document(I approve the contract content...) only "visible" and "accept-only" for Authorizing Manager. Because this Manager has to accept the document, he's now a blocking to the signing process, at the same time, External Signer doesn't have view of this document, he/she won't receive this dummy document when package was completed. (3) for "Regional Business Managers set up to view the document", as we discussed above, you can set this Manager as a reviewer, so that he/she will only be notified with an email without blocking the signing process. (4) so for genuine contract(s), only assign signatures for "External Signer" and "Internal Contact". Hope this could help! Duo

Hello! Looks like you're enjoying the discussion, but haven't signed up for an account.
