Is there Document which explains the possible values for Request each PayLoad

Hi Team, I am trying to Integrate our product using java and REST APIs , Can some one point me to appropriate documentation which talks about the Request PayLoad for each of the URL. Currently I am using Samples shared in Develper Blog ( say "CreateAndSendPackageREST") for package creation, with out understanding much about request payload. Is there reference document to write the request JSON string from scratch as per the need of specific API. Thanks In advance. Regards, Srikanth
