View Only package

Is there an option to make a package view only? This would be the final document our users see in our application and they do not need to sign or accept. We are hoping to use eSign for all our document viewing needs. Some packages are accept only, some require signature, all will have injected fields. We're working with the REST API for a web view.

Hi there, You will need to add what we call a reviewer to your package. In other words, add a signer to your package without any signatures assigned to him. Then, you simply create a signing session for your reviewer.

Thanks for the response, Haris. Does this mean there must be a signer for every package in order for a reviewer to view only? In other words, I can't create a package with only a reviewer?

That is correct. What you could do is have a dummy signer (i.e. email address you have access to) with a signature and a reviewer for packages that only needs viewing. The dummy signer obviously doesn't sign and you can view the documents anytime by creating a signing session for the reviewer.
