Restricted Symbols in Document Names

Hello, I've noticed that creating documents with names that contain the windows restricted file name symbols ( ":\|/*? ) will cause the documents to be shown in the signing ceremony and audit information with those symbols replaced by underscores. Is it at all possible to have those symbols show correctly in the signing ceremony and audit info with those restricted symbols and then just have them replaced when it comes time do download the files?
