Field Injection From Template

Is there documentation on populating a template before signing when you are creating the transaction from a template? I only see documentation that is uploading a file from a PC rather than using a template that is already created.

Hi Jack, Field injection only works during document upload because that's the only time where the application processes the document. It is not possible to inject fields on an existing document in a template.

In moving forward I've run into a problem I can't seem to get around. I tried to run the code provided here: https://developer.esignlive.com/code-share/injecting-fields-net-sdk/ and got the same error below.. Any suggestions? Could not send the package. Exception: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. HTTP POST on URI https://sandbox.esignlive.com/api/packages/4BKr3LLkQWR0VozUkloOfSt7nX8=. Optional details: {"messageKey":"error.validation.sendPackage.noApprovals","message":"Cannot send package without approvals.","code":400,"name":"Validation Error"}

As per the error message, it looks like you didn't put any signatures on a document before sending the package. eSignLive requires at least one signature on a document in order to send a package.
