Using KBA

Guys - We are looking at enabling KBA into our custom system. I've found the link here that talks about setting up a user and I just wanted to be sure that this can be done on first time package creation and that I do not have to create the package first and then add KBA to a signer later. https://developer.esignlive.com/guides/feature-guides/authenticating-signers/

Hey Ryan, I just tried with some testing data and confirmed that the KBA information can be sent in the "first time package creation" REST/SDK call. And OSS will return you an error message if the KBA validation was not passed. Duo

Duo, Do you happen to know if drivers license is a required field for KBA? Also, is the format of the DateOfBirth in a YYYY-MM-DD or a YYYY-DD-MM?

Hey Ryan, Driver License is not required, and the DOB format is consistent to other date formats in OSS system: {yyyy}-{MM}-{dd}T{HH}:{mm}:{ss}Z, only {yyyy}-{MM}-{dd} should also work. Duo

Duo, I can confirm that {yyyy}-{MM}-{dd} format does work. Thanks again.
