Users and Roles

Hi!

We have some roles in our account for control access management. We want the ability for designated user (Roles & Permission) to be able to access and download the evidence summary for ALL completed packages.

Teorhetical a "manager" rol can do it, but a manager receive this message:

{"technical":"user: XXXXxxxxXXX does not have EDIT/DELETE access to package: XXXXxxxxXXXX","messageKey":"error.forbidden.cannotEditDeletePkg","message":"Cannot edit or delete package.","code":403,"name":"Access Denied"}

We want to know if an user can have this ability for download all Summary_Evidence documents from all packages or completed transactions availables from reports section.

Do you know if this is possible?

Thanks,

Joana Q.

Hi Joana,

Have you enabled "Roles & Permission" feature accompanied with "Subaccount" feature, or just R&P?

Either way, with Roles&Permission, Manager or Admin Role no longer has the complete API access as before - "Manager" and "Owner" Sender Type. This is why you are hitting this error saying you don't have permission to direct access (view/download/etc.) to the package.

If you are leveraging OneSpan Sign service without any integration, you can have a quick try with my "OneSpan Sign - Package Export & Download Tool", it's an stand-alone application hosted in the Code Share, which allows you to download completed packages or to export reports in a CSV file. As long as you use the account owner's credentials, the tool work in tandem with Roles&Permission feature. (I haven't fully tested with subaccount feature)

Otherwise if you have an integrated workflow, essentially you need to pull each sender's API Key, and use different API Keys to download their respective packages. We can further discuss about it if you want to follow this path.

Hi Joana,

This tool works for Sandbox accounts. Once you are ready to go live, you can check with your Customer Success Representative for a further confirmation.
