New Signer Experience For Notary

0 votes

Guys,

I know it's been a while since we've had a discussion about this but I not circling back around to this topic.

For our notary signing experience we are now trying to test with the new signing experience. I'm going through the same work flow as before but this time I'm creating the signing linked for the new experience like below.

https://sandbox.esignlive.com/a/transaction/8OCf7IvvMK_sMpyteJ3e8PyDecA=/sign?

When I get there, I am only seeing the old signing experience. Is there something going on with the Notary portion of signing or do they not have a new signing experience for notaries at the moment? If they do, am I building my signing link wrong?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Ryan,

Sorry that I've missed your last reply. (It happens sometimes that notification emails didn't come through, feel free to make another post and remind me if I didn't reply for few days)

For your question, are you still trying to embed a notarized new signer experience into an iFrame? If so, you need to build below link:

https://sandbox.esignlive.com/auth?authenticationToken={sender_authentication_token}&target=https%3A%2F%2Fsandbox.esignlive.com%2Ftransaction%2F0YLNRxmEoWy5IR12Eu0IjBe1UF4%3D%2Fsign

Below is a screenshot where I successfully signed in an iFrame:

4-7-1

You mentioned without "/a", you can neither sign or switch signer, could you share an example link and a screenshot?

Duo,

I am building the notary link as below.

https://sandbox.esignlive.com/auth?authenticationToken=NThlOTZhNjktYjZjOC00MzVkLTg4OGMtMTE0NDBjNWU2NWRk&target=https://sandbox.esignlive.com/a/transaction/8OCf7IvvMK_sMpyteJ3e8PyDecA=/sign

When I pass this link back to our system for the iframe, it then gives me an error. If I go to the developer console in chrome, I get this message.

"Refused to display 'https://sandbox.esignlive.com/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'."

If I remove the "/a" it renders the old signing experience with the old header along with all of the options which include, "Send New Package", "Inbox", etc. See the link below.

https://sandbox.esignlive.com/auth?authenticationToken=NThlOTZhNjktYjZjOC00MzVkLTg4OGMtMTE0NDBjNWU2NWRk&target=https://sandbox.esignlive.com/transaction/8OCf7IvvMK_sMpyteJ3e8PyDecA=/sign

Duo,

When I encode the url I get this.

https://sandbox.esignlive.com/auth?authenticationToken=MTc3MGE4MmMtZDU5MC00YWUzLTk5ZTAtZDE5NTQ5Yjc5MmM4&target=https%3a%2f%2fsandbox.esignlive.com%2fa%2ftransaction%2f8OCf7IvvMK_sMpyteJ3e8PyDecA%3d%2fsign

Still throws the same x-frame option error.

I am experiencing the same. Hence if you remove the "%2fa" in the URL (with a new sender authentication token), it should work.

When I remove that part it takes me to the classic signing room.

Duo,

I was able to copy and paste those into our application from the point at which they are returned for the iframe and it worked.

So now the question is, what are you doing that is different then me?

Can you generate few sender authentication tokens for the package "8OCf7IvvMK_sMpyteJ3e8PyDecA=" and email them to [email protected]? Also, could you also share the account owner email?
