Remove signer from an In Progress transaction
Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 02:24pmWe have encountered several instances of multiple signers added to a transaction, but only one signer completes the esignature. That signer then downloads the docs and has the other signers wet sign the document. We then cannot access an evidence summary for just the one signer. Is there a way to edit the In Progress transaction as far as removing a signer? Thanks for any thoughts.

Since the second signer is on a document that is signed, it is not possible to remove this signer who hasn't signed. This is this way from an auditing perspective.
What I do suggest though, is there is a feature to display the Evidence Summary for incomplete transactions. This would then show the summary button when the transaction is still in progress. You could then download the evidence after the first signer has signed. This feature is not enabled by default. You can email support to request this feature be enabled for your account.
