Copy layout between on-prem and sandbox

Thanks for the post! There are some Stackoverflow posts suggesting that the "java.io.IOException: Error writing to server" error might because the receiving server closed the connection due to timeout - might be the case that the file exceeded the size limit.

I've updated the tool and released the version 1.6.1 where it downloads the flattened version of the document when copying layout. If that won't help, could you try to apply the layout to a template in your on-prem environment then to copy the template (since copying template functions well)? You can later manually save the layout and delete the template.

thanks for replying me back. I tried v1.6.1 version, and still have the same issue. for the same layout, if I switch the source and destination (sandbox as source, on-prem as destination) is working, but not the vice versa.
