Copy Group Policy Administrative Templates to the domain controller

If you want to use domain Group Policy but do not want to install Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon on the domain controller, you need to copy the Administrative Templates to the relevant directories.

The Administrative Templates are located on the OneSpan Authentication Server product CD, in Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon Group Policy.

• Copy DAWL.admx and en-US\DAWL.adml to %systemroot%\PolicyDefinitions.

If you are upgrading from Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon 3.0 or earlier to the current product version, you need to additionally copy the following Administrative Templates to prevent compatibility issues with the current templates:

• Copy DAWL-3-0.admx and DAWL_3_0.adml to %systemroot%\PolicyDefinitions.

With these two files, you can maintain the settings for older Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon installations, which are no longer compatible with the current Administrative Templates. After upgrading Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon on the client computers, the old settings will still be used until the new settings from the current templates are applied in the course of the next Group Policy update.
