Pre-uninstallation tasks and considerations
Administrative privileges
To uninstall OneSpan Authentication Server you must be logged on using a built-in administrator.
Database
When uninstalling an instance of OneSpan Authentication Server that uses an external database, the database files and data inside will not be removed.
When uninstalling an instance of OneSpan Authentication Server that uses the embedded MariaDB database server, the database files and data inside will not be removed. If database encryption is enabled, the data-at-rest encryption key and certificate files will not be removed and remain on the disk as well.
Removing schema modifications
The dropschema command in the dpdbadmin command-line utility can be used to remove all schema modifications from the database, deleting all data relating to OneSpan Authentication Server.

Firewall ports
If ports have been opened on the firewall during installation, they must be closed after uninstallation.
