Self-Registration and Auto-Assignment

For user registration, the following form fields must be used on the Self-Registration and Auto-Assignment page and posted to the User Self-Management Website servlet (action="registeruser"):

Form field name	Visible label	Description
username	User Name	Required. The user name for logging on to User Self-Management Website. The maximum length is 255 characters.
password	Static Password	Required. The password for logging on to User Self-Management Website. The maximum length is 128 characters.
commit	Register	Required. The button to submit data entered by the user to OneSpan Authentication Server.
replay_token	<hidden>	Required. Internally used form field to prevent re-transmission of form data.

User registration process

1. The user navigates to the Self-Registration and Auto-Assignment page.
2. The user enters their user name and static password.

3. The user clicks Register.

   If back-end authentication is successful, the user account is created on OneSpan Authentication Server, and a hardware Digipass authenticator is assigned to the user.

4. The administrator sends the Digipass authenticator to the user and provides operating instructions.
