OneSpan Sign for MS Dynamics

OneSpan Sign offers seamless integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365, enhancing your team’s productivity by simplifying the eSignature process. With this integration, you can initiate signature requests directly from Microsoft Dynamics 365, and OneSpan Sign will handle the entire transaction, including secure storage of all signed documents.

Preparing an opportunity with OneSpan Sign for MS Dynamics

To begin, a transaction is created within Microsoft Dynamics 365:

  • Within Microsoft Dynamics 365, the seller creates a new opportunity with the relevant contacts. This opportunity represents a potential business deal or project.

  • The seller then adds all relevant documents that need to be completed and signed by the customer. These documents could include contracts, agreements, or any other paperwork related to the opportunity.

These documents must be tagged before they are sent to the customer. For more information, see Text Tag Extraction.

  • The seller adds the recipient contact to the opportunity.

  • Once the documents have been prepared, the seller then moves the opportunity status to the next stage. For example, Propose. This action automatically triggers the eSignature process.

As a OneSpan Sign user, you have the flexibility to define which stage within Microsoft Dynamics 365 should initiate the signing process. This can be customized to follow your organization’s workflow.

  • The OneSpan Sign transaction is then created using the documents added earlier by the seller. The transaction is then sent to the contacts associated with the opportunity (for example, customers, partners, or other stakeholders).

  • The signature process now begins.

Once the signature process has been initiated, the following happens:

  • The contacts included in the transaction will receive an email notification prompting them to begin the signing process.

  • Using the provided link, they can securely access the document and digitally sign it.

  • After all documents are signed, the completed transaction, including the evidence summary, is automatically sent back to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and stored within that opportunity.

The opportunity then consists of the signed document and its embedded audit trail. The audit trail provides a detailed overview of the entire signing process. Your organization can audit the entire signing process, including who signed the document, when it was signed, and any modifications that were made.

This automatic document management eliminates the need for manual uploading and ensures that all signed documents are securely stored in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

This integration is a paid add-on to an enterprise plan and not available in a professional plan.
