Auto Signing

Getting really close to having all my questions answered. Thanks to Mwilliams and Harishadairy for all the help. Hopefully this is the last big issue. I will describe the situation and then you can tell me how best to proceed with the system. We are an organization that issues contracts via a wide range of car dealers (with varying degrees of technical ability, FYI). While we want the auto buyer to receive and sign the contract, we would like to have the dealer's signature automatically added to the document (by virtue of issuing it, they implicitly agree to it, our terms also make this celar). We would like to have a way to get them outside of the email >> sign flow. Ideally, we could just create an automatic signature with their name, or provide an image as some sort of dynamic field. We could then have them setup that image on our side of the system, and we would send it along with any requests they make. Looking for the best ideas here. In the worst case, we can still have the dealers sign each contract, but this would be a great value-add and time saver for us. Thanks

Hey Trevor, From your last post, it looks like you're on the e-signlive.com sandbox, correct? If this is true and you're not yet in production and could switch to the new application, https://sandbox.esignlive.com/, there is a new feature in this version for auto-signing documents. If you're committed to e-signlive.com, having the dealer sign each one is probably going to be your only option for using a real e-signature. Let me know.

What I'm meaning is that there are two versions of eSignLive. the older version e "hypen" SignLive.com (e-SignLive.com) and eSignLive.com. e-SignLive.com is on version 10.13. eSignLive.com is on version 11. Because of some changes to the platform, 10.13 cannot be simply upgraded to 11.0, like previous updates. There will be a migration taking place at some point, but for now, there are parallel applications. You will either have to migrate to the eSignLive instance yourself for the API signing feature or just wait until accounts are migrated and take care of it another way, for now. Hope this makes more sense.
