File Size for document upload

0 votes

Hello,

We are witnessing an issue with Document upload with large document sizes. I wanted to know what the limitations are of the platform.

The size of the document we tried to upload is 162 pages and it is 2.1 MB. We also receive a 500 error upload package creation stating the documents could not be upload.

I also looked on the site and couldn't find anything in terms of document size limits. I did find one other forum post that spoke about this but the link in the reply was broken.

Hope to hear back soon!

Thanks guys!

Hi D'Metrius Agurs,

Did it happen to your on-premise environment or can the same PDF be uploaded to SaaS?

In terms of the PDF sizing, as per this documentation, the maximum size of a single document is 16 MB, and I don't have a problem uploading a PDF with more than 162 pages to SaaS, so I am wondering maybe it's caused by other reasons - "PDFs added to a transaction must not have syntax errors.", "PDFs with the NeedAppearances flag set to true are not currently supported.", "PDF can't contain dynamic XFA forms", to name a few.

To further investigate, is it possible that you shares the PDF (with sensitive information removed) to [email protected] so that I can have a closer look at it?
