Integrating OneSign Dashboard with Current Laravel Application

0 votes

Hi,

We would like to embed or integrate the onespan sign product inside our web application, like the attached sample process (please see attached png file)

Sorry for this basic question:

1- basically I'm asking is how can we integrate the current onespan sign application inside our application. I saw that the onespan sign can be embedded inside an iframe, authenticating it with the tokens for the application.

2 - the documents will reside in our local storage so do we need to upload those documents inside onespan sign?

3 - If we embed the onespan sign application inside an iframe, inside our web application can we have the custom functionalities available inside of onespan? like adding signature boxes/signers?

Sorry this might be in the documentation although there are a lot of reads that I'm confused as to where to start.

Thank you.

Hi there,

From what you've shared in the screenshot, it seems you can embed the Designer Page to facilitate your integration. I actually have a blog series talking about all the aspects of integration with Designer:

https://www.onespan.com/blog/onespan-sign-developer-designer-customization-and-integration-part-1

https://www.onespan.com/blog/onespan-sign-developer-designer-customization-and-integration-part-2

https://www.onespan.com/blog/onespan-sign-developer-designer-customization-and-integration-part-4

https://www.onespan.com/blog/onespan-sign-developer-designer-customization-and-integration-part-5

Where you'll find two integration examples in parts 3 and 4.

And to answer your questions inline:

1- basically I'm asking is how can we integrate the current onespan sign application inside our application. I saw that the onespan sign can be embedded inside an iframe, authenticating it with the tokens for the application.

You will find relative information in the part 1 blog, or this Designer Session guide.

2 - the documents will reside in our local storage so do we need to upload those documents inside onespan sign?

You can upload documents before opening the designer session, or optionally in the designer page.

3 - If we embed the onespan sign application inside an iframe, inside our web application can we have the custom functionalities available inside of onespan? like adding signature boxes/signers?

Yes, Designer page includes almost all the functionalities to create a package, including add/edit signers, upload documents, save/apply templates, provide documents review thumnails and to add signature and other fields.

To note, in an embedding scenario, you may choose to disable the "Send the Package" button and use a custom button outside the iFrame to better control the workflow.
