Sessions and Sender Accounts

Can I create packages programmatically using the same sender email address? And then show the designer view with that same sender email address in multiple browsers? Thanks Colleen

Hey Colleen, I'm not sure what you mean by creating packages with the same sender email address. Are you asking if the sender can be a signer? Also, are you asking if the designer view works with different browsers?

Can several people be logged in via a session with the same sender email address? And be able to function at the exact same time? Thanks Colleen

I do not recommend sharing your account information because our support will be very limited since every package sent will be under the same email. The correct way would be to add senders to your account.

Alright, we can add senders to our account. When I add a sender in code, can I set the status to active? That way they can be added to a package creation right away. We want this to be seamless and only interact with our website if possible. Thanks Colleen

You can definitely set the status to active when adding a sender to your account and skip the verification step. Though, this is only possible if your sender already has an eSignLive account. Have a look at this blog for more information on how to manage your senders: https://www.esignlive.com/blog/esignlive-how-to-managing-senders/

So, each email address we add needs to be verified via an email from e-Sign Live to be a sender in the system? Is there a way that we could send the authenticate email from our system with the verification link instead of yours? Or is there a way to white label the email being sent from e-Sign Live? Thanks Colleen

Yes, you can send the verification email from your system and customize the email. To do this, you will have to go through support: [email protected]

Maybe I'm not explaining myself well. Say I add sender1's email address to the account as the sender. You're saying an email gets generated and sent to sender1's email address with a link. What happens when they click on that link? Does it make them sign into eSign Live? Does it just call some code to set the user to active? I'm trying to understand the process. We really want our users to be able to use the design view without knowing that they are in eSign Live. How can I make that happen? Thank you, Colleen

Oh I see what you mean. Once you sender clicks on the link in the invitation email sent by you, your sender will be redirected to eSignLive's account registration page. Unfortunately, this page is not customizable. Every sender you add in your account must have an eSignLive account in order to create/send packages. However, the following are customizable through support: the designer view, the email sent when adding a sender (minus the link to register an account), and where the email is sent from (i.e. you can send the email from your domain instead of eSignLive). Let me know if you have any more questions :)
