Upgrading the OSS Container Deployment

Support for on-premises deployments, including those using Containers, ended on December 31, 2023.

This section's procedure:

• Upgrades your OneSpan Sign Container deployment from its current Helm Chart version to OneSpan Sign's latest Helm Chart version.

• Implements any customized configurations you have made since your last deployment (e.g., a new path to a chart directory, or overrides of existing values in the chart).

Beginning with the 22.1.1.1 release a new dependency chart has been added for the OSS umbrella Helm Chart. Before continuing with this upgrade see Retrieving Containers.

To upgrade your OneSpan Sign Container deployment:

• Run the following command:

$  helm upgrade --install oss oss \
    -f my-values.yaml \
    --namespace my-namespace \

Once the initial upgrade is executed, the following events occur:

• The Platform will automatically restart.

• The PDF Document Engine will automatically restart.

• A platform-database-seed pod will be integrated with the workflow.
