Server components
A server component record holds the license key for a specific OneSpan Authentication Server instance.
When OneSpan Authentication Server starts, it verifies the server component for the following:
-
License key. If the license key is missing, invalid, or expired, administrative logons (Administration Web Interface) are still allowed for configuration and management purposes, but all other services, such as authentication, will be unavailable. The following items need to be supported in the license key:
- SOAP
- RADIUS
- Authentication
- Signature validation
License keys can be viewed in the server component record via the SERVERS tab in the Administration Web Interface.
- Policy. The effective policy to use for SEAL administration logons. The policy will be applied to all administration logons (including live audit connections) for which no administration program component record is found.
A server component record is automatically created for each OneSpan Authentication Server instance during installation.
