Basic test setup overview
Before you begin
Before you begin to set up your test environment, you will need the following:
- The encrypted DIGIPASS export file (DPX) provided with your authenticators (unless you will only use the provided demo authenticator files).
- The transport key of the DIGIPASS export file (if using your own file).
- The installation disk or executable.
- OneSpan Authentication Server Installation Guide for Windows
Setup overview
Setting up a basic test environment includes the following steps:
- Install RADIUS Client Simulator.
- Install OneSpan Authentication Server.
- Set up OneSpan Authentication Server.
- Configure RADIUS Client Simulator.
- Configure a live audit connection.
The setup described here presumes RADIUS authentication and does therefore not apply to authentication with authenticators compliant with the multi-device licensing (MDL) model, because these authenticators require a SOAP license.
For more information about multi-device licensing, refer to the OneSpan Authentication Server Product Guide.
