Installing OneSpan Authentication Server

Install OneSpan Authentication Server according to the instructions for a basic installation in the OneSpan Authentication Server Installation Guide for Windows. Note the following:

  • RADIUS topology. When prompted to select a RADIUS topology, select either:

    If your organization is impacted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), note that for being GDPR-compliant, you must set up an encrypted VPN tunnel such as IPsec.

  • SSL certificate password. When prompted for a certificate password, note the password you enter. This will be required later in the process.

  • Automatic settings. Some settings that are created automatically for OneSpan Authentication Server are:

    • Example policies.
    • A component record for the OneSpan Authentication Server instance, which will use a default policy.
    • A default RADIUS client component record.
  • Auditing. The Audit Viewer application will be installed with OneSpan Authentication Server.
