Electronic Smart Note

Guys - Can you only create an electronic smart note when there is a notary associated to the package? I'm running a few tests where I send a package with just signers and I am not able to create a smart note. When I send the exact same package with a notary, I can then create the smart note.

Hi Ryan, I just made a quick test and it appears that I can generate a smart note without uploading documents and this package can be successfully sent. And I didn't specify a notary in my test. (See the attachment) So I am afraid it's not related to the notary, probably because of the "enote_data_section" and "enote_attribute" in data node. Duo

Duo, That was the issue. For some reason the data section of the package was not being populated. Thank you!
