Customizing redirect after session expiration

0 votes
Hello, We have a business client who would strongly prefer that the signing experience does not redirect to the OneSpan sign-up/login page after session expiration. They have correctly noted that when using the mobile experience there is no redirect, instead it simply tells you that your session has expired. Do we have any control to provide similar functionality with the non-mobile classic signers experience? Is there a more basic page without the signup/login that we can have it redirect to? I understand we can provide a custom redirect URL, however in this instance that isn't an option for us. Thank you in advance! Ron

Hi Ron, When session get expired in Mobile Signing Ceremony, there’s no pop-up visually indicates that the session get expired, but when I tried to click any signature/accept button, the screen was lead to the URL that has been pre-set in my account, which is the same setting that redirects your non-mobile experience. (“logout.config” resource -- "signerExpiryRedirect" setting) So are you looking for an error page with "Session Expiry" message, that you can set up for this setting? If that's the case, you can try below page provided by OneSpan Sign:
https://sandbox.esignlive.com/error?error=eyJjb2RlIjo0MDEsIm1lc3NhZ2VLZXkiOiJlcnJvci51bmF1dGhvcmlzZWQuc2Vzc2lvbkV4cGlyZWQifQ==
And a gif in real action: Duo

Hello, This looks pretty promising, however I am not sure I agree that the mobile experience works that way. In our testing when you are in the mobile experience and it expires it redirects to this page shown in the image attached. We are using the SaaS cloud solution, so I am not sure why we are seeing different behavior from what you show. In the meantime, I will request that our accounts be updated in the sandbox to redirect to the page you suggest and if it works for us I will mark your answer as accepted. Thanks!
