SAML SSO Changing Email Address Creates New User
Friday, April 8, 2022 at 06:27amWhen user change email address (ex: email domain changed or user get married) results in a new account generated in OneSpan eSign. So there is a chance for a user to lose access to his/her documents and results in duplicate user accounts.
Is there any automated way to update the email using SAML? Any possibilities for auto-provision with altering user's email addresses during login?
If not, what are the steps our client can do to avoid this ? What is a proper way to update an email for the user who recently changed his email address?

Generally speaking (with or without sender SSO configured), when a sender changed his/her email address, we would suggest to disable the original sender and add a delegate access to the original dashboard so that they won't lose track of the ongoing transactions.
I believe this suggestion also applies to accounts with sender SSO - disable the original email prevents duplicated accounts, and delegation allows access to existing transactions.
