E-sign Portal Display Issue

0 votes
We had over 20 packages in our e-sign portal that display as expired even though the package was already completed. Does anyone know why that is? The technician indicated that the packages were completed and that signers were not receiving expiring e-mails. He suggested I follow up with my development team to see if there were any issues on our SDK code. Our developer looked into this issue and noted the following: It appears like there is a package status and package signature status. When all the signatures are done, the package signature status is completed but the package status doesn't seem to change (or is getting expired anyway?) Should we move the expiration or change the setting on the package because setting an expiration on the signature might make for a completed package and expired signatures? Thanks!

If the package has been completed, the user would not receive any emails about the package expiring. I talked with Rajiv from support who you were talking to and from what I understand, you're talking about the label that shows in your inbox that says "Package expired x days ago". Is this the only issue? If so, this is just something that support will need to create a ticket for as something that shouldn't show if a package is completed. It seems that the information presented in this logo only takes into account the expiration date set and not if the package was completed or not. If you actually check the package and signing status on these packages, they still show as complete. This is only a visualization/UI issue. Let me know if this is definitely what you're talking about. :)

Hi Micheal, Yes, I am only referring to the label that displays on the portal. See screenshot attached. The label is confusing because it makes is seem like the package is expired even though it was actually completed. Rajiv followed up and indicated that truly expired packages will appear under the Draft folder. Thank you for following up! Zee

I will talk with Rajiv and make sure a ticket gets created for this confusing label. Let us know whenever you have questions.
