Administration Web Interface
The OneSpan Authentication Server Administration Web Interface is a web-based administration tool to manage OneSpan Authentication Server. It allows you to create, delete, and manipulate the data objects used in OneSpan Authentication Server. It can be accessed in a web browser with a OneSpan Authentication Server administrator user ID and password.
Only administrators should have access to the Administration Web Interface.
The Administration Web Interface main page provides quick links to mange the authenticator and user settings, and provides information about the OneSpan Authentication Server status. This information also includes the time, date, and location (i.e. the IP address) of the last successful administrative logon of the user currently logged on.
Authenticator records and user account administration
The Administration Web Interface provides several ways to add, remove, and manage users and their corresponding authenticators. It also allows you to search for user records in a number of ways:
- Search directly by entering the user ID, user name, email address, or authenticator serial number.
- Search for the user that a specific authenticator belongs to by searching for the authenticator and selecting the user on the authenticator details screen.
- Search for users and authenticators using wildcard characters ('*'). A result list will be provided where you can select the user required.
- Search for authenticators that belong to a user by searching for the user and then selecting the authenticator on the user details screen.
- Search based on the description field of an authenticator record.
The Administration Web Interface facilitates the following tasks:
- Import authenticator and user records individually or in bulk
- Create user records
- Edit user accounts
- Reset PIN for an authenticator
- Assign and unassign authenticators
- Disable user accounts
- Delete user accounts
- Activate and deactivate authenticator applications
- Manage, activate, and deactivate authenticator licenses and instances
- Add custom and/or RADIUS user attributes, individually or in bulk
- Unlock authenticators

Manage Mobile Authenticator Studio authenticators, including:
- Generate activation data
- Send activation data
- Bind device
- Unbind device
Authenticator instances that have been generated from an authenticator license cannot be assigned to or unassigned from the user. Other major administrative tasks
The Administration Web Interface can also be used to create, edit, or delete the following:
- Policy records (new policy records can also be created using a wizard).
- Client records.
- Back-end server records. The Administration Web Interface can also be used to configure general back-end authentication settings.
- Domains or organizational units.
In addition, it can also be used to perform the following major administrative tasks:
- Run existing reports and to create new reports (see Reporting).
- From the SERVERS tab, you can manage various scheduled tasks including rotate cryptographic data, migrate data after an OneSpan Authentication Server upgrade, and manage and list administrative sessions.
- Manage the system. From the SYSTEM tab you can add or remove OneSpan Authentication Server instances, administer the license, and configure the OneSpan Authentication Server instance.
