Configuration Wizard
The OneSpan Authentication Server Configuration Wizard provides two different modes:
Installation Wizard
The Installation Wizard mode is used during the installation or upgrade process. When the OneSpan Authentication Server Setup Utility finishes installing all the necessary components, it displays the Select Components screen. If you want to configure OneSpan Authentication Server immediately (recommended), click Run Installation Wizard to launch the Installation Wizard.
The Installation Wizard configures all the necessary settings to get OneSpan Authentication Server operational as easily and as intuitively as possible. The Configuration Wizard uses this mode if the OneSpan Authentication Server configuration file (identikeyconfig.xml) does not exist or is not valid for the current version (as during an upgrade).
Maintenance Wizard
If the OneSpan Authentication Server configuration file exists and is valid for the current version, the Configuration Wizard will run in the Maintenance Wizard mode.
This mode allows you to perform a couple of maintenance tasks that are not available in the daily administration tools:
- Re-running the Installation Wizard.
- Changing the server component location.
- Installing SSL server certificates.
- Importing/exporting audit messages.
- Rescuing the administrator account (i.e. creating a new administrator account).
- Rescuing the administration client (i.e. creating or modifying an administration program client).
- Restoring default policy and report definitions.
- Exporting key data.
- Changing key token PINs (only available if OneSpan Authentication Server is using a Thales ProtectServer hardware security module (HSM).
For more information about the particular tasks, refer to the OneSpan Authentication Server Administrator Guide, Section "OneSpan Authentication Server configuration".
