Self-Registration, Auto-Assignment, and Online Activation for Mobile Authenticator Studio

For online Mobile Authenticator Studio activation, the following form fields must be used on the Self-Registration, Auto-Assignment, and Online Activation for Mobile Authenticator Studio page and posted to the User Self-Management Website servlet (action="dsapponlineactivation"):

Required. The user name for logging on to User Self-Management Website. The maximum length is 255 characters.
password Password

Required. The static password or OTP for logging on to User Self-Management Website. The maximum length is 128 characters.
commit Continue Required. The button to submit data entered by the user to OneSpan Authentication Server.
replay_token <hidden> Required. Internally used form field to prevent re-transmission of form data.

Required. Activation data provided as a color QR code, including the user name and activation password.

The color QR code can contain data of up to 512 bytes. In order not to exceed the maximum size of the color QR code, you can limit the length of the user name and the activation password accordingly.
button-done Done Required. The button to redirect the user to the OneSpan User Websites menu.

Mobile Authenticator Studio online activation process

  1. The user navigates to the Self-Registration, Auto-Assignment, and Online Activation for Mobile Authenticator Studio page.
  2. The user enters their user name.
  3. The user enters the password.

  4. The user clicks Continue.

    If user authentication is successful, a color QR code that contains the registration identifier and activation password is displayed.

  5. On the mobile device, the user opens Mobile Authenticator Studio and follows the on-screen instructions to either scan the color QR code, or to type the registration identifier and activation password manually.

    The user will receive a confirmation message once the registration process has been successfully completed.

  6. (OPTIONAL) In the User Self-Management Website, the user clicks Done and is redirected to the OneSpan User Websites menu.
