Keyboard Drag-and-Drop

When you use the Designer to add fields and signatures to a transaction's documents, you must drag-and-drop them to their proper place. To do so without handling a mouse, you must first enable your keyboard to drag-and-drop. The following tutorials describe how to do so for Windows and Mac operating systems, respectively:

Enabling MAC Users to Tab on Links

In a Mac operating system, by default only Buttons and Inputs are brought into focus as users tab through the User Interface. Yet focusing on Links can be useful for users who can't use a mouse.

Starting with OS X Mountain Lion, performing the following procedure enables Safari users to navigate to all controls and Links on a page by pressing the Tab key.

To enable Safari to tab on Links:

  1. Open Safari Preferences, and navigate to the Advanced Panel.
  2. In the Accessibility section, select Press tab to highlight each item on a webpage.

In a Windows operating system, by default Buttons, Inputs and Links are brought into focus as users tab through the User Interface.
