Failure to delete the default-consent document - strange behavior

0 votes
I'm seeing some odd behavior, on my local development environment, I can create a package and delete the "default-consent" page without issue. Once I've moved this to our integration environment, this same call fails. I'm trying this with identical data, so I am purplexed as to why this would behave differently. I only get a small snippet in the error log (running WebSphere BPM 8.5 in our integration environment, WebSphere Process Server 7.0 on my local working environment). [4/7/16 9:52:17:971 EDT] 000001b7 SystemErr R com.silanis.esl.sdk.EslException: Could not delete document from package. hey serg, I will need a bit more information to help you:
  • the Java SDK version you are using
  • the package id so I can try this on my end
  • a snippet of your code where this is giving you the error
Thanks

Turns out that this was a "feature" of our IBM DataPower device, it was not configured to allow DELETE operations through! http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/techjournal/0903_peterson/0903_peterson.html
