Global ConfigurationPush Notification (tab)

The SERVERS > Global Configuration > Push Notification tab displays the configuration fields for the Push Notification feature of OneSpan Authentication Server.

Table: Global ConfigurationPush Notification tab
Field name Description
Cache Polling Interval

This field defines the interval for polling the push notification cache in milliseconds (which is also stored in the database). Polling is needed to synchronize multiple OneSpan Authentication Server instances that use a shared database, when distributing the process load of push notification authentications over them. This value has influence on the maximum latency of push notifications. It must be reasonably smaller than the challenge cache maximum age to ensure that cache data is not deleted before polling.

Default value: 250

OneSpan Push Notification Service
API Key The API key used to send push notifications via the OneSpan cloud services. This key is provided by OneSpan when you subscribe to the notification services.
DIGIPASS Gateway
DIGIPASS Gateway ID

A unique ID to identify the on-prem DIGIPASS Gateway infrastructure. The ID is generated by the OneSpan Customer Portal and can be retrieved from there. To generate it, you must provide the URL used to access the on-prem DIGIPASS Gateway from the OneSpan cloud services – this URL must be accessible via the internet.

If you set up DIGIPASS Gateway to send push notifications directly from the on-premises deployment, this setting is not required.
