can we able to get the status for document level and signer level

Hi ,

I see there is an api to get the status for a package or a transaction . In same way can we able to get he status for the document and signer level.

Hi Naresh,

 

In terms of the status retrieval, we always suggest the integrators to use Callback listener or Javascript notifier or Handover URL these kinds of webhook mechanisms to inform your application the status change, to reduce the use of actively polling.

And for your specific question, it's possible to get the signing status for a specific document or signer, or signer per document. Just specify the two optional parameters "signer" and "document" in the API URL:

GET /api/packages/{packageId}/signingStatus?signer={signerId}&document={documentId}

If we use the above mechanism like callback  listener or  javascript notifier or  Handover Url  , in that case also we can able to get the status of signer and documents right .

Yes, take callback listener for example, there are two events "Document signed" and "Recipient completed signing" informing your endpoint about the status change, see below:
