Multiple Signers with some in parallel, some sequential from Nintex workflow

We have existing Nintex workflows, using CoSign for electronic signatures. We are investigating changing to eSignLive for signing. Is it possible to have multiple signers in a flow, with some signing in parallel and some signing only after others have approved/signed?

Hi there, Your scenario is indeed possible in eSignLive. All you need to is assign the same signing order for those who can sign in parallel. For example, consider the following scenario Signer1: signing order 1 Signer2: signing order 2 Signer3: signing order 2 Signer4: signing order 3 Signer1 will have to sign before anyone else. Once he has finished signing Signer2 and Signer3 can sign in parallel. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Haris. Is all of this managed through the eSignLive Create and Send action? In our current workflows, we have a state machine and can control restarts at certain points in the workflow, possibly after some signers have completed their tasks. It's unclear to me how to incorporate this new signing process with the existing workflow logic because it seems all of the signing is encapsulated into the one action with a loop to check status. Am I missing something? If you have an example of this with a complex Nintex workflow, please provide. Alisa

Hi Alisa, I don't have any examples for you with Nintex workflow but the signing order is completely managed within esignlive. It is on a signer level. Hence, when you define your signers, you set a signing order, and esignlive takes care of the rest. We do have a Nintex connector, which you can have a look here: https://developer.esignlive.com/code-share/esignlive-nintex-sharepoint-documentation/
