Signature place holder showing in the background

0 votes

Hi,

I added a signature place holder ( {{ *esl_SIG001:Signer1:signature}}) in pdf document, when I am trying to sign the document, I can see {{ * esl_SIG001:Signer1:signature}} in the background also. I have attached a screen shot (screenshot1.png) to clearify the issue.

Once the document is signed both the text are shown on the document one overlapping the other, I have attached a screenshot (screenshot2.png)

The package id is UJ-dtkoxIWz8ZfvFAKZ-qwYh10M=

The other thing I want to check is, is there a way to change the email content?

currently the email we get is:

Hi Smith John,

Abc has added you as a Signer to "Consumer documents".

Please review and complete "Consumer documents".

GO TO DOCUMENTS

This message should be delivered to all signers

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can we change it to?

Dear <<Borrowers FN>>,<<Borrowers LN>>,

Please click on GO TO DOCUMENTS below to review and sign the Settlement Pack from Company Name for loan number <<Loan #>>.

Regards,

Company Name

Thanks,

Kamran

Hi Kamran,

Below is the blog link:

https://www.onespan.com/blog/onespan-sign-developers-email-templates-part-1

In terms of the signature timestamp, yes, you can mention it in your support ticket that you want to customize the signature format and remove the timestamp part, below is the default formula:
E-SIGNED by $signer_name; $line_break; on $date;

Hi Kamran,

For your issues:

#1. Having text tags stamped in the background, I believe it's caused because there's an extra space in your tag

12-19-1

#2. In order to customize the email template, please contact our support team ([email protected]). You can also refer to my blog below for more details:

As the blog mentioned, I could suggest to set the loan number <<Loan #>> as the package/signer level message and be part of the email template.

Duo

Hi Duo,

Removing the space worked.

When I am clicking on your blog post is returning 404, the url doesn't seem to be correct.

I have one more question, can we remove the date time stamp from the signature, to explain the question I have attaced a screen shot.

We already have a field to show the date so we want to remove the date time from signatrue.

Thanks,

Kamran
