TargetInvocation Errors with Check Transaction Status Activity within Laserfiche Cloud Workflow

0 votes

Hello,

We have a customer of ours using the OneSpan Sign integration with Laserfiche Cloud who has recently started encountering an error during the execution of Check Transaction Status activities within Laserfiche Workflow. This activity has been stable within the workflow for the last couple of months, and there is nothing particularly unusual about the data being entered into the errored transactions. I’ve attached the Windows Event log and included screenshots below. Please let me know the next steps for troubleshooting this issue.

Thanks!

Hi Robert,

I believe the actual error occurred during creation of the transaction. May be there were some unexpected character in the transaction name or in the path of the Laserfiche entry. Please have look into those values in "Request Signature" activity.

As the transaction has not been created, the "Check Transaction Status" activity did not get any transaction id to check with. so, it failed to execute successfully.

Please let us know how it goes, if the issue still remains unidentified, then we can escalate the matter.

Thanks,

Moshiur Reza

Hi Moshiur,

It looks like the transaction did send successfully, but your reply led me to double-check some of the inputs which on initial troubleshooting appeared to be normal, but on review contain linefeeds. They seem to have made it through the create just fine, but cause the check to error out.

If you've run into this in the past and know of a good way to sanitize these out in Workflow, I'd love to hear it, otherwise I'll move on to working that out in LF which should prevent the issue.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Robert,

We haven't encountered this issue earlier. We will try to reproduce the issue in our environment. If any issue found, then we will fix it in the next release.

For now, please make sure to pass only the transaction id for the "Check Transaction Status" activity.

If you need any further assistance, please send us an email at [email protected]

We will take it from there.

Thanks,

Moshiur Reza
