Hi ,

one of the client saw the message "Signed and all signatures are valid, but with unsigned changes after the last signature" in the Adobe, any idea what it means?

I attached the form for your investigation.

thanks,

Cindy

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for your post!

Here are some of my findings: If I opened this PDF in Adobe Acrobat DC > Open the Signature Panel > Expand the signature and click "Click to view this version", I found that the option "I am a tax resident of Canada." was not toggled, compared to the latest version where this option has been selected.

Hi Duo,

thanks for replying back. Sorry I don't understand what you said: I found that the option "I am a tax resident of Canada." was not toggled, compared to the latest version where this option has been selected.

I followed your instruction and see the "x" is not in the place, is this the issue? see attachment as capture.jpg

also there is "annotations created" see attachment as capture1.jpg

what I'd like to know is if this is the signer issue or document issue? still don't understand "but with unsigned changes after the last signature" what does it mean?

Cindy

Hi Cindy,

From what I understood, this annotation (typewritten text) was added after the e-signature. Is this PDF the original one downloaded from OSS, do you have access to the transaction, download the PDF and compare with it?

Hi Duo,

does Onespan has kind of Adobe message list for different scenario of the form? if not, do you know where I can find it.

I can share those information with my client, so next time when they see the message they know what's going on.

thanks,

Cindy

Hi Cindy,

After further investigation, I found a similar case where another client was seeing the same warning after they added comments and/or highlighting to completed OSS documents. OSS purposefully allows highlights and notes to satisfy the use case of other customers, however, PDF readers do flag these as changes.
