Operating system requirements

To install Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon client software you need:

  • Windows 11

    • Windows 11 2023 Update (version 23H2)
    • Windows 11 2022 Update (version 22H2)
    • Windows 11 (version 21H2)

  • Windows 10, 32- and 64-bit

    • Windows 10 2022 Update (version 22H2)
    • Windows 10 November 2021 Update (version 21H2 LTSB)
    • Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809 LTSB)
    • Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (version 1607 LTSB)
    • Windows 10 (version 1507 LTSB)
  • Windows Server 2022
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Windows Server 2016

Software requirements

To use Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon client software you need:

  • OneSpan Authentication Server 3.21 or later

Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon supports the following LDAP servers for back-end authentication:

  • Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services on Windows Server (supported versions)
  • OpenLDAP 2

Upgrade paths

You can upgrade from Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon 1.4 or any version 2.x or 3.x to version 3.7 on the currently supported Windows operating systems.

It is not possible to upgrade Digipass Authentication for Windows Logon from versions prior to 1.4. If you are using an earlier version, you must first upgrade to version 1.4, and then upgrade to the current version. You can also uninstall the installed version and perform a clean installation.
