Upgrade path
Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS supports upgrading from version 4.8 to version 4.9 on the supported operating systems.
To upgrade to the newest version of Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS, you need to run the installer. This will uninstall the old product version, and install the newest version. The upgrade requires you to recreate the previous configuration in the Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS Configuration Center.

You can view the user documentation of most OneSpan products online already at https://community.onespan.com/documentation, and we plan to shift exclusively to online documentation.
This means that PDF documentation will be completely removed in future major releases of Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS (currently planned for 4.10).

Known issues
Access keys do not work across sections
Description: Access keys (underlined letters used together with the Alt key to move between controls) in the Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS Configuration Center do not work properly across different sections. They only function within the section that has the keyboard focus.
Status: No fix available.
Version 4.5 (October 2021)
Fixes and other updates
Issue OAS-9901: 15-character limitation for primary and backup server location
Description: On the Connection Settings page of the Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS Configuration Center, the 15-character limitation for primary and backup server location has been removed.
Issue OAS-5873 (Support case CS0042881): User authentication randomly fails
Description: User authentication randomly fails for no obvious reason. This issue occurs after Windows security updates have been installed on the computer where Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS is running, and when a user who is locked tries to log on via Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS. In this case the Digipass Authentication Module crashes, and users are no longer able to authenticate.
Affects: Digipass Authentication for Microsoft ADFS 4.2–4.4
Status: This issue has been fixed. Asynchronous DNS handling has been improved.
